Kick-off!

Team in Training meeting today.
What an event!
I met some realy nice people who are on my team and coincedently live within minutes from me. We all are doing the same half marathon so we made a pact to start training together during the week.
I need that motivation and the stick behind the door.
They showed two movies and I had tears in my eyes, so many young kids affected by this disease, it hurts to see a child my sons age so sick.
I'm even more resolved to walk this marathon and to raise funds for research.

So now it's official, I have my training jersey and wristband. Tomorrow is the 1st training.
